Description
I have made a very short view
There are two problems :
- there is a margin on the right of the yellow square corresponding to the left property
- there is a "bottom margin" (which is not displayed if I use layout="vertical") that matches with the blue view height (see red part on the bottom)

I cannot reproduce this issue with the provided test case on either iOS or Android platform. We see consistent layout behavior with SDK 3.2.2 release. Let us know your Titanium SDK version and device information to reproduce this issue. Please make sure that your screenshot is for the attached test case.
I use 3.2.2.GA On a Android 4.2.2 device (Galaxy Tab 3 10" and genymotion Custom 10") And yes the screenshot is correct :-) I'll try later on an other mac
We have not been able to reproduce this issue on either iOS or Android platform. We tried it on Galaxy Tab 3 4.2.2 device as well. We do not see the same screenshot as attached here at all.
