Description
Steps to Reproduce
Right click on root folder and select New.
Choose 'Create New Alloy Controller' (Might not be the correct phrase)
Actual Result
A dialog box appears with an error message 'Creating Alloy resources.... has encountered a problem'
'Aproblem has occured'
Expected Result
A new Alloy controller will be created with view and style.

Hi. Please click the details of popup error window, provide a screen shot of that. also can you tell me does this only happen in new controller, how about other options like new alloy view.. secondly, is the alloy project runninng well? Regards, Shuo
Tried reproducing the error but the dialog box failed to appear even though a new controller is not created. Same with when I try to create a view.
when you said " dialog box failed to appear", do you mean there is no error any more? On the other hand, you may need update your studio to latest version. Thanks

This is working as expected .I recommend you upgrade studio to the latest build of Appcelerator Studio (Titanium Studio is outdated) and let us know if you get the error again. *Test Environments:* CLI Version = 4.0.1 Titanium SDK Version = 4.1.0.GA Android: Google Galaxy Nexus - 4.1.1 - API 16 - 720x1280 Appc Studio: Appcelerator Studio, build: 4.1.1.201507141126 Alloy: 1.7.3 *Test Steps:* 1.Right click on root folder and select New. 2.Choose 'Create New Alloy Controller’. *Expected Result* A new Alloy controller will be created with view and style. *Test Result* A new Alloy controller is created with view and style.
