However, some of this is due to how Java works by default, and you may wish to adjust your settings to see if that helps.\r\n\r\nJava defaults to allocating more memory than it is actually using at the moment. Have you tried turning on the memory monitor to see how much memory is actually being used, or tweaking the default settings shown here? http://wiki.appcelerator.org/display/tis/Setting+Memory+Levels\r\n\r\nPlease let us know how that goes and if any of those suggestions improve things for you.",
