Description

Here is my current Studio version:
Appcelerator Studio, build: 4.4.0.201511241829
(c) Copyright 2012-2014 by Appcelerator, Inc. All rights reserved.

Build: jenkins-appcelerator-rcp-master-339 (origin/master)
Date: 24 November 2015, 18:30:16
"Check for Appcelerators Updates" doesn't give me Studio 4.5.0, but only gives me the SDK and CLI updates. I should have the correct update preferences. Please see the screenshot. Also, a log shows that the process checks for SDK and CLI updates only.

Hello, What version of CLI You have installed? Can you try manually installing the studio downloaded from [here](https://web.appcelerator.com/product/studio). Thanks.

How do I check CLI version?
  3. Jebun Naher 2016-02-25

Hello, To check the CLI version use below command:
       appc cli -v

    To update the environment use:
       [sudo] npm install -g appcelerator
       appc setup

Please refer to this link for details: http://www.appcelerator.com/blog/2016/02/ga-release-of-cli-5-2-titanium-5-2-and-studio-4-5/ Thanks

[~sdarda] I'm sure downloading a new copy of Studio will work, but maybe it's good to find out why it doesn't upgrade first so we can fix a possible bug in that flow?

Hi, If there is a new version of Studio available but your current Studio shows "*No updates were found*" when you select Help > Check for Appcelerator Updates*, you could try the following: 1. Open the Studio Preferences dialog and navigate to *Install/Update > Available Software* Sites and make sure the appropriate "*Release Updates*" entry is checked and enabled for what you want to install. 2. Select the entry and click Reload to make sure it returns success. 3. Try *Help > Check for Appcelerator Updates* again. Thanks

Didn't do anything, but it is fine now.

The most annoying kind of bugs, but good to hear [~shawnlan] ;)
