Description
there is an issue with launch orientations and app widths. if you launch the KitchenSink-Ipad demo on the device in landscape, the initial window is ok then open one of the spilt screen examples - you'll see that the widths of the page are wrong.

meant to assign to blain not bill. :)
Fixed a similar bug and forgot to update this one.
This appears to still happen. Just tested with the latest build an its KS-iPad demo. [June 7th]
Also, only after launching in landscape, if you rotate the device a few times, you'll see the right detailindow navbar slip down a bit.
If you pulled and built this just now, it might be a result of a bug that I fixed since I had to screw with iPad view controllers. I'm opening this one again and assigning it to myself.
Hi,
It was from a 'recent' build [fafa7e5] rather than 'just now'.
I'll pull down now and try again.
Hi Stephen,
Just pulled [eaa93dd] and got the same problems.
(from [e0f0c31919c1db0595ebd3a7d4f2b778343574ea]) Closes #1076: TiSplitViewController now orientates properly on view load. Also fixed another bug where sometimes master and detail views would be improperly resized/redrawn on reorient. http://github.com/appcelerator/titanium_mobile/commit/e0f0c31919c1db0595ebd3a7d4f2b778343574ea"> http://github.com/appcelerator/titanium_mobile/commit/e0f0c31919c1d...
Hi,
It's not resolved (Titanium SDK 1.5.1).
Run KitchenSinkIpad on the Simulator in portrait mode and then during loading (the image default), switch immediately to landscape mode (see the attachment).
Unless this is duplicable on device it should not be considered a bug. Simulator splash screen display has known problems.
Hi Stephen,
It does not look like a splash screen display error because it appears after the splash screen on the simulator (see the last attachment). I haven't tested it on a device.
OK, now I see what you're describing. I will reopen the bug and mark it as a regression.
(from [b130f898c070b282931b66876463dd506a195b3c]) [#1076 state:fixed-in-qa] Always set initial allowable orientation modes. Removed the unnecessary kTiDidRotateNotification - of COURSE we can be notified when the status bar changes position already
