Description
Description:
1.According to tizen developer website, there is no mention of intel(HAXM) support on win 8
2.Intel (HAXM) utility is used by the tizen emulator for virtulization purposes & is a necessary install step in setup
3.Also, there is no mention of this on our tizen preview page
4.We should add this to our preview page to make our users aware of this fact

What happens if you install it on Windows 8?
It runs fine. I was able to run tizen apps on simulator. But, donno if it would affect anybody in the bigger community. Update: The tizen launcher utility says 'HW Virtulization - not supported' even though the processor supports it & is enabled in BIOS.But, the app runs fine on emulator.
I do not see Windows 8 in list of supported platforms for Tizen SDK. Since 2.0 haxm is integrated into Tizen SDK and it is not required install it separately. Probably on Win8 it works but I think it will work slow without enabled HW virtualization
With the new 2.0 emulator manager I can see the HW virtualization supported & enabled on win 8. Running the simulator is quiet snappy & fast.
great. Also there was other Win8 issue on Tizen forum https://developer.tizen.org/forums/sdk-ide/windows-8-64-bit-emulator-manager-issues
We will be deferring work on Tizen for the moment.
Closing ticket as Tizen is no longer supported.
