little more complex than just checking the reachability flags to determine cellular vs. wifi
Moving to 1.2.0 for triage. Not sure it's still valid.

Issue Resolved. 1. Turned off WiFi on the device. 2. checked under Platform -> Network in Kitchen Sink 3. It says online. and type=mobile
Issue is not valid, does not reproduce in: TiMOB sdk version 1.7.2 Studio version 1.0.2 OS version Mac OSX Lion Devices tested on – iPhone 4.2.9
