Currently you can set win.orientationModes as a workaround or use AndroidManifest.xml.

Adding missing tags.
Ticket reference is wrong? (Goes to something about tableviews). I think the correct reference is http://developer.appcelerator.com/helpdesk/view/72261">http://developer.appcelerator.com/helpdesk/view/72261 ... and for me, setting win.orientationModes does not work, hence my initial ticket.
Demonstation that the work around causes a side effect of splash screen.
Verified fixed with SDK 1.8.0.1.v20111207112258 in both Rhino and V8 on Nexus S 2.3.6 and Droid 3 2.3.4 using Titanium Studio, build: 1.0.7.201112061404.
