Attached an alloy test case as well.
This is a known Samsung issue. You can find more info here: https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=42128. The problem is that Samsung uses their own keyboard that isn't native Android. I'm able to reproduce this on the S3 running 4.1.1 and 4.2.0. This problem starts when you update to Jelly Bean (4.1.1). ICS works fine (4.0.4). Closing as not our bug.
