Description
1. install KS onto an ipad 2 running ios5 gm seed (no other ti apps were installed on the device)
2. Launch the application
3. hit the home button
results: nothing occurs consle shows:
Oct 5 13:23:45 unknown UIKitApplication:com.appcelerator.titanium[0x774c][160] : [DEBUG] fire app event: pause
Oct 5 13:23:45 unknown UIKitApplication:com.appcelerator.titanium[0x774c][160] : [INFO] app was paused from the foreground
expected: notifications to appear
fwiw, the same app running on ipad2 4.3 works as expected. Believe this worked as expected on B5
On Sabils advice I republished the app with a new id and am now getting notifications. I can no longer get into this bad state.
as per Blain attaching the "bad build" (ks) and the good build (ks 1)
too big for jira. Links: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15325240/KitchenSink%201.ipa ("good") http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15325240/KitchenSink.ipa ("bad")
Restored the device with the iOS5 gm seed 9a334. Tested the KitchenSink bad app bundle posted above and it works fine. Notifications seem to appear properly and App Badge also seems to be set properly. Further tested with a new build of KitchenSink with following build details : Titanium SDK timestamp=10/06/11 15:51 version=1.7.3 githash=49cd327 iOS 5.0 (9A5288d) with Xcode Version: 4.1 (4D151a). and problems where found.
Closing issue due to not being able to reproduce Tested with Ti Studio 1.0.8.201201101928 Provided KS in ticket, and also 1_8_X OSX Lion iPad 2 OS 5.0.1
