Description
ASIHTTPRequest is no longer under active development:

http://groups.google.com/group/asihttprequest/browse_thread/thread/7731197dbe71c260
Normally, for 3rd party components, we can continue to support them long after development has stopped. ASI is a special case since it's extremely complex code, and is integral to a lot of mobile app support. We need to investigate alternatives, and then replace it.
Given that we are replacing ASIHttp with NSURLConnection in TIMOB-15980, this will be addressed by that ticket.
Closing ticket as duplicate with reference to the above comments.
