QE make sure to note this behavior changes in 1.9.0. For 1.8.0 we should see a deprecation wanring but it should work as expected. for 1.9.0 no wanring and no working. Make sure wiki steps reflect this.
Tested on Ti Studio 1.0.7.201112061404 Ti Mob SDK 1.8.0.1.v20111207091653 OSX Lion iPhone 4S OS 5.0.1 Expected behavior is shown of platform.id having deprecation warning in 1.8.0.1
