Tested with Nook Color 1.8.0.1 and 1.9.0.v20120119134634 the image view encoding does not load.
Also occurs on: Titanium Studio, build: 2.0.0.201203291340 SDK: 2.0.0.v20120329191102 Devices: Nook Color, Kindle Fire
Do you have a fix yet? I have seen this problem (intermittently) on 2.0.1GA2/V8 running in the WVGA800 emulator when downloading a PNG from a HTTP server. I have a customer with an HTC Evo 3d (OS v2.3) who reports that one specific PNG served over HTTP will not display and that an embedded resource PNG will also not display. Other users are not reporting these problems. I wonder if it's related to this :- http://twigstechtips.blogspot.co.uk/2011/10/android-loading-jpgpng-images-from-url.html
Closing ticket as this version of Kitchen Sink is no longer supported.
