Description
Steps To Reproduce:
1. Compile the following code
var tabGroup = Titanium.UI.createTabGroup();
var win2 = Titanium.UI.createWindow({
title:'Map',
navBarHidden:true
});
var tab2 = Titanium.UI.createTab({
icon:'KS_nav_ui.png',
title:'Map',
window:win2
});
var mapview = Titanium.Map.createView({
mapType: Titanium.Map.STANDARD_TYPE,
regionFit:true,
region:{latitude:40.581691,longitude:-122.3916,latitudeDelta:2, longitudeDelta:2}
});
win2.add(mapview);
tabGroup.addTab(tab2);
tabGroup.open();
2. Click on tab 2
Actual Result:
The mapview does not zoom into the region
Expected Result:
The mapview should zoom into the region
Note:
Compare with Android to see the region
I have noticed this as well. My issue is when I put the map as a header of a tableview it won't zoom. My temporary fix is to put the map inside another view that is just a container. It should work for your issue too.
Closing ticket due to time passed and lack of progress in the past 5 years.
