Namely, it may be time to switch from our custom-rolled search implementation to the 3.0-provided one, which may give us this and some other things for free.
Taking over from Blain at his request. Probably related to changing the table search structure over to 3.0, as suggested in ticket #362.
Blain (or whoever) fixed this back when he did the conversion to 3.0-style search. Thanks Blain (or whoever)!
