PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

Our current ActivityIndicator blocks the UI. We need to use alternatives that won't block the UI or that the user can cancel. There is some alternatives to do so, like the progressDialog: http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/ui/dialogs.html#ProgressDialog
