[TIMOB-1364] iOS: dismissing an activity indicator from the Toolbar or Navbar takes ~2 seconds

Description
this reproduces in the simulator as well as the device. You can see it using KS by:
1.Nav to Controls>Activity indicator
2.Tap "Show Indicator (toolBar)" then tap hide. NOte how long it
takes to dismiss
3.repeat with "Show Indicator (NavBar)"
4.repeat with any of the other locations indicators can be.
results:all indicators except those in the toolbar and navbar dismiss immediately, whilst indicators in the the toolbar and navbar take about 2 seconds to dismiss.
this is a test issue - not a bug.
