This is correct behavior. You can always set\nvisible:true when creating the object.

\nI think you might want to reconsider whether this bug is invalid. I\nunderstand if it's simply not high priority. But 'invalid' should\nonly apply if Appcelerator cares little about Titanium behaving as\na developer would expect.

Consider, is there any other control on which you have to set\nvisible:true? None that I have used. So you have a\ncontrol that deviates from your convention. Setting\nvisible:true may work, but you're forcing everyone to\ntroubleshoot until they hit upon that.
