Description
It is not possible to insert characters into a Text Area using the iPad/iPhone Simplified Chinese PinYin keyboard. The characters are destroyed, apparently by a backspace, immediately they are typed.
See #1660 as well.
Actually, let's make it a dupe. They're the same bug.
