support added for camera preview overlay but further changes / camera spec are expected before issue will be resolved.

Current state of changes while not in the resolved state can be verified with the attached test app. Currently the image will not automatically show up in the photo gallery without a device restart forcing a read of the media files again. A fix for this is coming.
