Exactly as described. Behavior can be seen by modifying the camera_overlay.js test to mod the box by a size or boundary constraint upon taking the picture. Presumably has to do with (1) the proxy not having a proper 'parent' and (2) thus no bounding box.
Closing this ticket as invalid as there is no valid test case and the time passed since the last activity in March 2011.
