[INFO] Titanium SDK version: 1.6.0 (01/24/11 08:14 e1cb22) Galaxy tab 2.2.2 only
2 scenarios.
heres the first:
1.start in portrait at Phone > Play Movie
2.while the movie is playing, rotate to landscape
results: video does not update after the intial orientation change (though audio plays) and stays on same frame
second:
1.start in landscape at Phone > Play Movie
results: Blue screen that never shows the video
FWIW, I transfered the movie onto the sd card and played it via the media player on the tab. It would only play in landscape, but did so without issue.
this persists in [INFO] Titanium SDK version: 1.6.0 (02/08/11 20:55 bd9d124...)
Still exists, Confirmed behavior using [INFO] Titanium SDK version: 1.7.0 (05/23/11 07:38 86dae2c...)
