The \"touchstart\" and \"touchend\" events aren't firing on a table\nview.
\nBROKEN on Titanium Mobile SDK 1.5.1, 1.5.2, 1.6.0, several\n1.7.0
\n\nvar win = Ti.UI.createWindow({ backgroundColor: '#000099' });\n\n// create table view data object\nvar data = [];\n\ndata[0] = Ti.UI.createTableViewRow({title:'Row 1',backgroundColor:'#900'});\ndata[1] = Ti.UI.createTableViewRow({title:'Row 2',backgroundColor:'#fff'});\ndata[2] = Ti.UI.createTableViewRow({title:'Row 3',backgroundColor:'#900'});\ndata[3] = Ti.UI.createTableViewRow({title:'Row 4',backgroundColor:'#fff'});\n\n// create table view\nvar tableview = Titanium.UI.createTableView({\n data:data,\n bottom:30,\n left:20,\n right:20,\n height:178,\n borderWidth:2,\n borderRadius:10,\n borderColor:'#222'\n});\n\n// create table view event listener\ntableview.addEventListener('touchstart', function(e)\n{\n Ti.API.info('touchstart fired');\n});\n\n// create table view event listener\ntableview.addEventListener('touchend', function(e)\n{\n Ti.API.info('touchend fired');\n});\n\n// add table view to the window\nwin.add(tableview);\n\nwin.open();

I was playing around with this more and if you create a view\nthat is the width and height of each row and add it to each\ntableviewrow the touchstart and touchend get fired. This isn't\ndesireable since the properties for the tableviewrow are no longer\naccessable.
I'm having this issue as well. [can this be high priority?\n:)]
I'm using Ti Mobile 1.6.1 and Android 1.6. Using John's\nworkaround does work!
