Description
It would be nice to be able to have a simple place to store encrypted information, either as an extension to or i addition to our properties API. Adobe AIR has something similar:

WOuld be super cool to have something similar on both Desktop and Mobile. Credit Ed Finkler with the idea.
Think this is a dupe of another feature request, but on iOS possible with keychain. Not sure about Android. Let's file this one as a candidate for modularization.

For iOS, [MOD-360] implemented this as a module. Android has the open ticket [MOD-361].
Closing issue due to time passed and irrelevance of the ticket.
