While testing KitchenSink Phone>Play Movie>Local, I rotated to landscape mode. I noticed a white bar obscuring part of the movie. This turned out to be a notification (fully viewed by pulling down the menu from the nav bar). PLease refer to screenshot. THis did not occur with 1.6.2.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Install KS 1.7.0 on Droid
2) ensure a notification is present (see additional screenshot)
3) Navigate to Phone>Play Movie>Local
4) Rotate to landscape
Result:
Notification visible
Expected Result:
Nothing but video visible
Notes:
Does not occur on 1.6.2

This is another manifestation of redraw issues with video views in general. Will look at in 1.8 timeframe.
Resolving ticket as invalid as this version of Kitchen Sink is no longer supported.
