Marshall and I were talking about this last week and I thought I\nwould throw it in a ticket. Absolute positioning for an entire app\nmay quickly grow a bit onerous as the complexity of the UI\nincreases (or on larger screens, like iPad). It would make a lot of\nsense to have some kind of auto-aligning component to arrange views\nhorizontally or vertically. Pseudocode for such a component would\nbe:
\n\nvar vbox = Titanium.UI.createVerticalBox({width:'100%', height:'100%',align:'center'});\nvbox.add(view1);\nvbox.add(view2);\nvbox.add(view3); //all three views are aligned vertically and centered within the vbox view\nTitanium.UI.currentWindow.add(vbox);
\n
These components are making it into the sdk with vertical and\nhorizontal layout options - Android still needs horizontal\nlayouts.
Yet another placeholder for layout. We really need to manage\nthese.
