Both 734 and 669 goes into the dangerous territory of modifying the OS-provided elements beyond the documented areas, as both need to modify the layout, which may change in latter OSes (Or in the case of enough buttons on an alert, changes within the same OS)
I suggest we either cancel this feature request, or include the provision that using this API may get your app rejected from the App store.

As I suggested, maybe create a module for this?

Closing as invalid. If some third party makes a module for it, fine, but that'd be a third party until Apple provides a safe and sane means to do this.
- Matthew Congrove 2011-10-19 It seems like the iOS APIs now have this as a documented feature; any chance we can get this pushed through as a feature request?
- Lee Morris 2017-03-10 Closing ticket as invalid.
