Description

Description

Windows 8.1 Developer Preview is available for developers. The Titanium CLI does not detect this new phone OS, therefore blocking the user from building Windows Hybrid applications to device

Steps To Reproduce

1. Install the latest 8.1 phone update 2. Run 'ti info' 3. Create and build a Windows Hybrid Application to the device

Expected Result

Phone should be detected, application should also be built to device.

Actual Result

Phone is not detected, cannot build to device.

Master pull request: https://github.com/appcelerator/titanium_mobile/pull/5679 Note that Windows Phone SDK 8.1 is NOT supported. This ticket only adds the ability to detect and handle the existence of a 8.1 SDK. Significant work to update the project templates for 8.1 will need to be performed before we can officially support 8.1.

To test, run "ti info" to see that we detect 8.1, but that it's not supported.

Verified fixed on: Windows 8.1 Appcelerator Studio, build: 3.3.0.201405121247 Titanium SDK, build: 3.3.0.v20140512162513 Titanium CLI, build: 3.3.0-dev Nokia Lumia 520: 8.1 'ti info' correctly displays Windows Phone 8.1 devices and detects my 8.1 SDK. Correctly notifies that the SDK is not yet supported. Closing.
