1. Create the default project 2. Preview in browser, using IEActual result
The App hangs on the appcelerator splash screenExpected result
App should open +Extra Information+ The error message for this issue:
Unable to get property 'getItem' of undefined or null reference
File: index.html, Line: 4245, Column: 4

Tested on: Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 Appcelerator Studio, build: 3.3.0.201405271647 Titanium SDK, build: 3.3.0.v20140603152512 Titanium CLI, build: 3.3.0-beta2 Alloy: 1.4.0-beta Internet Explorer: 11 Mobileweb application freezes on the splash screen.
Steps To Reproduce
1. Run 'ti create -p mobileweb -n mobileweb' 2. Run 'ti build -p mobileweb' 3. Open the generated index.html page from inside the build folder in Internet Explorer.Just to be clear, are you opening the generated index.html directly in the browser or are you accessing it via a web server?
In this case, I opened the generated index.html file directly in the browser. No web server involved.
In that case, I'm resolving this as invalid. Mobile Web apps MUST run from a web server.
Tested the default app, using Windows7 -32 bit Appcelerator Studio, build: 3.3.0.201406111952 Titanium SDK, build: 3.3.0.v20140613161751 Node.JS Version: v0.10.13 NPM Version: 1.3.2 acs@1.0.14 alloy@1.4.0-rc npm@1.3.2 titanium@3.3.0-rc titanium-code-processor@1.1.1 IE 10.9
