Description

There is another old ticket (TISTUD-6948) about this issue but is closed, so I repost here: Liveview enabled Alloy apps doesn't reload the changes on device for Windows 8.1. It seems studio is looking in wrong app location to reload the project. I have this issue with the following configuration: Appcelerator Studio 4.0.0.201504131149 titanium.liveview.core (1.1.0.1426229149) CLI version 3.4.1 Windows 8.1 Target platform: Android Both Appecelerator Studio and Titanium Studio are installed on the machine. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create the default Alloy App 2. Run the app on Android Device with LiveView enabled; 3. Make a change in the TSS file and Save.
LiveView server start correctly:
[LiveView] version 1.0.7
[LiveView] File Server Started on Port 8324
[LiveView] Alloy project monitor started
[LiveView] Event Server Started on Port 8323
but when saving files I get the following error:
[LiveView] Alloy recompile initiated for android
[LiveView] .__ .__

This appears to be a path issue as noted by the reference to "C:\Users\TesterUser\AppData\Roaming\Appcelerator\Appcelerator Studio\'C:\Users\TesterUser\Documents\Appcelerator_Studio_Workspace\Test4Appc\app'"

[~LookHill] The issue is not resolved. Once it is, you can look for it in the next update.

Hello [~zo0m], That Studio version is nearly a month old and does not have the fix. We are closing as fixed, if you experience this problem with a more recent or current version of Studio, we will reopen.
