Description
I am new to Titanium, and I am trying to run it under Linux Kubuntu.
Although I tried various possibilities it keeps giving me the error "Malformed App Id (example: com.companyname.appname)" when trying to create a new mobile project the first time. It only goes away if I remove the 'Android' target.
No matter what url I try, it keeps giving me this error...

Hello, I tested the issue you reported. It looks like the feature "Malformed App Id error" in Appcelerator Studio is working fine for me. I tested this using the studio build: 4.1.1.201507141126 , Appcelerator Command-Line Interface, version 4.1.2 and SDK 4.1.0 GA. I recommend you upgrade studio to the latest build and let us know if you get the error again. Thanks
