This doesn't happen on other API version emulators.
Even on API 19 *ARM* it works. Only x86 throws the error.. :(
[~xcash] What happens if you manually try to
adb install -r /home/x-cash/Titanium_Studio_Workspace/Test/build/android/bin/Test.apk
?Tried within Studio, same error (just to be sure :) ). At commandline: {quote} $ adb -s emulator-5556 install -r /home/x-cash/Titanium_Studio_Workspace/Test/build/android/bin/Test.apk 4667 KB/s (10163104 bytes in 2.126s) WARNING: linker: libdvm.so has text relocations. This is wasting memory and is a security risk. Please fix. pkg: /data/local/tmp/Test.apk Success {quote} And it works seamlessy on the emulator.
Hello [~xcash]: Does the x86 virtualization works at all in your environment? Check this doc: https://software.intel.com/en-us/blogs/2012/03/12/how-to-start-intel-hardware-assisted-virtualization-hypervisor-on-linux-to-speed-up-intel-android-x86-emulator and launch that emulator, to see if it's working. Usually the exit error code 8 is related to found a problem with your binary (in this case the emulator). Best Regards
Hi Mauro, yes the emulator was working (it was started and running :D ). By the way the problem is fixed now in the latest Titanium release. So you can close this issue. Regards. :)
Fixed in 3.4.1
