[AC-2994] Missing project.py when creating new Mobile project

Description

Get message: "/usr/bin/python: can't open file '/Library/Application Support/Titanium/mobilesdk/osx/1.8.1/project.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory" when trying to create a new Mobile project. I can create a Desktop project without any hiccups.

    Any resolution to this? I am having the same exact issue on a fresh install of everything. xcode 4.2 btw.

    I'm having the same problem. Getting this version of appcelerator working with any version of Xcode (4.3,4.21,4.2) has been a big hassle.

    I tried leaving this before…. My problems disappeared when I installed the Android SDK. I'm not doing Android dev, so hadn't bothered. Now no problem...

    Hello, I updated the Android SDK and updated the Titanium SDK. I even installed some of the non-essential Android SDK packages, but nothing has resolved my issue. If it's a simple matter of getting the missing files from another user, I can attempt that. Otherwise, no published solutions have resolved this issue for me. -Thank you

    Closing this issue since the original reporter (Paul) indicated that updating Android SDK fixed this. @Scott/Chet - If has been so long since your last update. I hope the issue has been fixed for your as well with many updates to our TISDK, Studio and the Android SDK. However, if you need to report any additional bug, please file a new JIRA.
