Steps to Reproduce
When attempting to delete multiple characters and/or rows of text from a view (.xml) or controller (.js) studio crashed unexpectedly.
Each time I restarted studio the problem occured again when highlighting text in the code editor and clicking delete key.
When deleting one character at a time using delete key problem did not occur.
Axway Appcelerator Studio, build: 5.0.0.201712081732
MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017) Processor 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7 Memory 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3

Characters should be deleted without studio crashing

Hello [~NewportSolutions], Thanks for sharing with us. We have seen this issues on the following versions *Mac OS X 10.12.6* *Mac OS X 10.13* Which OS version are you using? I would like to inform you that the fix will be part of the *studio 5.1.0* release. Thanks Rakhi
I am running on: Mac OS X 10.13.2
This will be fixed in Studio Release 5.1.0. Thanks.
