There are 3 updates:
a. Titanium CLI v. 3.2.1
b. Node.ACS v. 1.0.14
c. Alloy v. 1.3.1

Problem Occurred
‘Installing Titanium Updates…’ has encountered a problem.
Error encountered during update
Details >> NPM is not installed
Expected Result
Updates process completed

This issue appears to be a duplicate of TISTUD-5987. You can restart Studio to work around this issue. You can also use Titanium CLI to install updates. Please let us know if restarting Studio does not work.
