Description
Titanium Studio is a real memory hog. It's actually the biggest consumer of memory on my Mac. It's using over 350MB...
This should really be improved!
Hi Sindre. Thanks for the report, and we are working to reduce memory consumption wherever possible. However, some of this is due to how Java works by default, and you may wish to adjust your settings to see if that helps. Java defaults to allocating more memory than it is actually using at the moment. Have you tried turning on the memory monitor to see how much memory is actually being used, or tweaking the default settings shown here? http://wiki.appcelerator.org/display/tis/Setting+Memory+Levels Please let us know how that goes and if any of those suggestions improve things for you.
