I keep getting an error when starting studio saying apps requires node.js > 8.0.
If I run apps from the command line.....appc runs fine

Hi [~peterladis]. Do you have Java 1.8.0_131 installed or a newer version? This is usually the cause of the problem. If not, please install that version of Java Also, what Node version do you have? Not everything above 8 is good. Max is 8.9: https://wiki.appcelerator.org/display/guides2/Titanium+Compatibility+Matrix#TitaniumCompatibilityMatrix-Node.js
